2000 -
Omaha Nebraska native Dale Peterson starts his 14th year as an NHRA sportsman drag racer. This 47 year old driver has raced in dozens of Division 5 events that include the Western Auto Nationals, and the Sears Craftsman Nationals in Topeka, Kansas. Dale has also competed in the 1994 IHRA Mid-America Nationals in Scribner, Nebraska. Dale races his 1967 Chrvrolet Camaro RS/SS in the Super Street class of NHRA and Hotrod in IHRA. Dale also runs Super Pro in the Super Chevy Shows.
"We are happy to announce that Pepsi-Cola of Omaha, Nebraska will be an associate sponsor for 2000.
"I'm really excited about the 2000 season with Pepsi", said Dale, it's going to make things better for everyone. Pepsi is the choice of our generation he said, "my wife Bunny grew up on Pepsi, I think
she had it in her baby bottle instead of milk, at least since we have been together she would rather have it over milk.
2000 will be a rebuidling year for Kendale Racing. "We would like to be racing in Super Modified, but the funding isn't there, so we will stay in Super Street and build for the future", said Dale.
"We are going to work hard at getting a Jr. Dragster program together for the year 2000", said Dale. "We want to get the youngsters in our local day care (Elkhorne, NE Schools, Fun Club Day Care)
involved because of the lessons that can be learned from it (Team Work Ethic, Comrodery, How to Win, and How to Win at Losing).
Kendale's Racing's team members are Dale, Bunny and Angela Peterson, Brenda and Tonya Peterson, Kevin, Dawna, Bryan and Collin Daily.
