• Started racing go-carts at age 12 with all adult competitors, driving 4 or 6 cylinder 100 horsepower Mercury engines. By age 14, had 3 wins in the outboard division. Still holds existing record for the youngest driver to win the outboard class.
• 1988 - Started driving stock cars in the mini stock class car division and was voted most improved driver.
• 1989 - 1991 - Continued running mini stock class with 5 wins and finished in the top 5 in points at Orlando Speedworld and New Smyrna Speedway.
• 1992 - Purchased a late model and ran on the touring circuit and at Orlando Speedworld.
• 1993 - Ran a Full season in the late model class. Ran the United Stock Car Alliance touring Circuit resulting in 4 top 10 finishes, 3rd in Rookie of the Year and 9th in overall points.
• 1994 - Ran in top 5 for the season.
• 1995 - Continued to run in top 5 for the season.
• 1996 - Purchased frame and started to build a new car for the 1997 season.
• 1997 - Placed in top 4 for the season. Competed in the Triple Crown Races and finished in 7th place.
• 1998 - Ran Speedweeks at Volusia County Speedway finishing 12th and also ran at New Smyrna Speedway.

Reynolds Racing 1999 Schedule:

New car under construction. Plan to run the Florida Sunbelt Series and selected Florida Pro Series races.

Facilities and Equipment:

Our race shop is located on U.S. 1, 10 miles north of Titusville on 3/4 of an acre. The building encompasses 2400 square feet , which includes 3 automotive work bays, a loft for storage, an enclosed engine room, restroom facilities and an office. We have been at this location for 7 years.

We own a GMC cube van for towing the race car and carrying equipment. We own an open trailer with a four row tire rack and enclosed storage to carry the race car.

The race car is built on a Howe Chassis topped by a 1999 Monte Carlo body from Five Star. The car is powered by a 358 cubic inch Chevrolet V-8 prepared by Express Automotive racing engines.

All of the above are owned jointly by Bill and Craig Reynolds.

The Team

Team Manager - Bill Reynolds
Retired executive with a major corporation having responsibility for maintenance of all divisional facilities with an annual budget of 7 million dollars. Started racing career with the Sports Car Club of America (S.C.C.A), competing in the 'C' Production Class. Joined Turner Racing Team to design and build short track stock cars.

Crew Chief - Greg Ward
Owns the Ward Company which manufactures custom tour buses and is the distributor/dealer for Howe racing products. Has 15 years experience racing in mainly dirt track series.

Randy Young
4 years experience with the team. Handles all aspects of a crew member.

Don Horne
6 years experience with the team. Has 4 years previous experience touring with NASCAR.

Tony Glass
6 years experience with the team.

John Henkel
The newest member of the team. Has 15 years previous experience on the NHRA and IMSA Circuits and is an engineer with the Boeing Company.
